AICTE announces the schedule for conducting National Level Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) to select suitable student for admission in management programmes academic year 2015-16.

The candidates will be given two opportunities to appear in CMAT; first in September, 2014 and Second in February, 2014. The better of two scores will be used for admission for 2015-16.

GATE is conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven IITs (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee) on behalf of the National Coordination Board

Application Fees: The application fee is Rs. 1500/- for General/OBC male candidates Rs. 750/- for female candidates and Rs. 750/- for the SC/ST/PwD category candidates
Paper Pattern:
The GATE examination consists of a single paper of 3-hour duration that contains 65 questions carrying a maximum of 100 marks.
The question paper will consist of both multiple choice questions (MCQ) and numerical answer type questions.
The examination for all the papers will be carried out in an online Computer Based Test (CBT) mode where the candidates will be shown the questions in a random sequence on a computer screen.

Application Process: All candidates (including those in exempted category) are required to down load the application form from the university website www.caluniv.ac.in (admission notification) and departmental website www.bmcaluniv.org. The equivalence clearance from Registrar’s Office, University of Calcutta is required to be submitted at the Head’s Office, Dept of Business Management.
Admission Process: Written test will be of 100 marks of 3 (three) hours duration
List of eligible candidates for PET written test will be displayed on the Notice Board of the Dept and on the website
